C:\OS
D:\DATA

format C:\ doesn't result in loss of data

put your fah-folder + EMIII on D:\

or even more efficiënt :
- apache + mysql + php have all the freeware for storage + mail + apps + ....
- that data stored on raid 1 on server
- scheduled daily backup of data to spare pc in other room (if server should crash that spare pc will do the server's job ... downtime ± 10 min.)
- all other pc's are "dumb" machines, just throw OS + office + virusscanner + VNC on it, nothing more, nothing less
.. almost there, just need a good freeware agenda/scheduler and i'm done

uhm.. the network storage can be running linux with samba, all you need

or Win2000/2003 with RIS server configured, and SMS server, best solution yet for 1000+ PC's
