Oh man, there was an article on the Inquirerer today on how ATi is going to be pricing new 9600 Pros at $90us to undercut nVidia on the lower-end.

Still, you're getting a great card. It's actually a good gaming card he'll be able to play some games at 1024x768/1280x960 and still use 4xAA 4xAF and get great image quality. (I have an AIW 9600 pro in me wife's computer with a 1.4 tuly @ 1.68 and it's a great match-up!)

Yup, that's the one....mine was late. I was waiting to hear something back from Patti all official like hoping to give the story some more zing, but I think I sent it too late for her to get it.

Thanks and glad to hear. I like MadShrimps a lot. I've been reading it for years, I find it kind of hard to believe I've never joined up at the forums before. ops:

Good review on that COOL unit, it got a lot of good talk all over the web yesterday and got a whole lot of people interested in getting one. (Not me though, I got this aversion to water cooling....I used to be an electrician and I just have a hard time getting over the whole "water and electricity are a BAD mix" thing. :? )

Sorry for the babble, pre-coffee. ops:
