| hmmmm How well are these board tested if you send it back for RMA (to a shop, not Epox)? I've ordered another one, and let's asume (hypothetically offcourse) i would send my dead one back as Dead On Arrival... What if i break off a capacitor and blame it on UPS? They're insured...

| the breaking of a capacitator is not a common thing that happens when sufficiently packaged when transported ... my guess ... if it's coming from funcomp.de i think you've got a fair shot to get another one in replacement - i've experienced their service as whooptidoo-great on such matters |

| If they don't take off the northbridge heatsink & they don't check serial numbers (which i don't think they do), i've got a fair chance indeed. How long did it take to get a replacement?

| i ordered a Ti4200 and got an MX440 ... but i just couldn't resist it and opened the package ... once i saw that the card didn't seem like a good OC'er i packed it up and away it went to germany so package had been opened, i have had glitches while OC'ing it but i didn't test if they were gone @ standard clocks ... after all, i didn't hear from them anymore after i got the (right) Ti4200 (which, by the way, didn't cost me one penny to this day ! ) |
