| nope, nothing worked. but it works how : boot in win 2000 and start setup XP. let it copy the files and reboot. when booting, just choose win XP and your off. in windows, boot.ini and delete all you don't use. easy and nobody knew this ? strange |

| going RAID1 won't prevent these errors, RAID1 will protect against hard drive failure; if your OS fails then the error will be duplicated to the 2nd HD immediately, making recovery no different then a single HD setup. only way to protect against this is to make a ghost image of your Win2k/xp install
