| Bought a new Corsair Performance pro 128GB SSD (from Tones Mechelen) for the Ivy Bridge setup. Dual boot setup of Xp and Win7 is up and running (AHCI). Only need to install the GPU benchmarks. Did some RAM testing (all at around 5GHz), some of the results: * Corsair Dominator GT DDR3-2133 9-10-9-24-1T 1.65V 2x2GB 1066MHz 8-10-8-24-1T 1.65V * Corsair Vengeance LP Red DDR3-1866 9-10-9-27-1T 1.5V 2x4GB 1200MHz 10-12-12-31-1T 1.65V * G.Skill Flares DDR3-2000 7-9-7-24-1T 1.65V 2x2GB 1066MHz 7-9-7-24-1T 1.65V 1151MHz 7-11-7-28-1T 1.65V 1200MHz 9-11-9-28-1T 1.65V --> will see if I can get even higher maybe with more relaxed timings --> Of the 3 kits the flares will definitely go on the Ivy bridge setup.

| Managed to get the G.Skill's up to 1260MHz @ 9-11-9-28-1T 1.65V

| Me and PJ tested the UD3 and UD5 GB boards, UD3 seems more stable for extreme benching... asked you a replacement UD3H Pascal iso the UD5H... The vengeance kit should do them timings at 2400-2600mhz with 1.8Vdimm

| Thx man . Will re-test the Vengeance kit this week. Last weekends runs were all at 1,65V. First LN2 run will be for the weekend.

| First LN2 runs done: 58x107=6206GHz @ 1,85V seems bench stable for GPU testing. 59x107 is not 100% stable. Will require more tuning. Went through half a dewar to keep running at -160. Temps didn't drop during the different runs. Boot was always 50x107 @ 1,75V. VPLL was 1,7 no cold boot issues. Once in Windows increased VPLL to 1,75V. Further testing needed to see if a higher VPLL will improve stability. That's it for today, had to stop as after 3 hours I was getting too much ice on my board.

| Watch out with 4 cores 8HT and high voltages pascal, you are ready to toast your CPU at the current level... For pifast, SuperPi, 01/03/05 and AM3 use 2 cores and boost CPU clocks as high as it gets, even with 1.9Vcore... you prolly will get 300-400Mhz more then with all cores enabled Once you go 06 and co use 1.85 max and see what is stable annd what's not... Contact and thermal paste has to be optimal to get it done...

| I wasn't planning on going higher, 1,85 was already scary Good tip on using less cores. Never gave that any thought! Should I use 1 + HT or 2+ HT (4)? Do you set the cores using Bios, turbo EVO or affinity? G.Skills can do 2400 @ 9/11/9/27/1T but will give 8/12/8 a try.

| no HT required for them benches P.... Bios 2 cores, no HT... If you can use ROG connect via laptop or other PC to up the multie or Bclock... turbo V eats valuable resources

| Use 4c/4t for 06, no need for HT, cpu speed is all you need. 01-03-05-aquamark : 2c/2t. Good luck. |

| Will try asap (but not today as wife wants to go to Planckendael ). About TurboEvo, I always exit the system after setting the values and terminate the following processes; AISuite+EPU+Turbohelp+Fancontrol, no resources wasted . I would assume that RoG connect also uses some resources?
