| Project Teemto's Garage is starting to take shape - Some painting done during the weekend. - Installed a couple of shelfs yesterday (after picking up some LN2 leftovers at Tones). - Tore down an overhead shelf Now comes the move of all the equipment. Coming weekend will see some trips to the container park to dump all the garbage that's been accumulating in my garage Before and after pictures will be for in a couple of days.

| First benching done in new location: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...type=3&theater * HD6570: 8 points + 21.8 team points (Cups: 2G/1S/1B/6M) Card basically sucks: max MHz core 800/mem 950 Didn't find a voltmod to improve. Flashed my Gene-Z to the latest Bios so all is ready for Ivy Bridge.

| Did a quick test of the 3770K on my Maximus IV Gene under phase: 5.4GHz requires 1.56V Tried it on my new Maximus V Gene . Same result as on the Gene IV. Under phase 5.6GHz at 1.62V boots but no go in Windows. Does Ivy require that much more volts even under phase or do I just have a bad CPU? Did some checks on HWbot and found the following entries in different benches (all under phase): 5.4GHz @ 1.66V 5.6GHz @ 1.67V also on Max V Gene. 5.7GHz @ 1.768V also on Max V Gene. 5.6-5.8 is max on phase. Some maybe mines a very good one?? Will try to increase the voltage a bit...

| Updated Bios to 0813. Initial one was 0402 which isn't even listed on the ASUS website anymore! Tried 55x100 @ 1.7V boots into win7 but Wprime32M locks up. So it seems like a dud Did manage to get a max Bclk of 111MHz 47x111 @ 1.56V

| Pascal you need to go far more cold to get 6ghz... if this CPu does that under phase, some can't even do 5.8 under cascade... Ivy is LN2 only, stop using the phase on these CPUs...

| I was afraid of that. I was hoping for 5.6-5.8 on SS. SS is cheaper for benching GPU's than LN2 (as long as I don't look at my electricity bill that is ). I'll give it a try with LN2 in the next days. First I'm going to make a new dualboot XP-Win7 SSD. This time with AHCI in WinXp. Got a USB floppy drive to install the AHCI drivers during XP installation. Should work. Before LN2 I'll try to find some nice RAM timings so that I'm all set to go.
