| I know one thing now for sure (i got frustrated) NEVER use a OCZ BOOSTER This board has an OVP It's not an oc'er mobo compared to the i855gmem-lfs.If you use DDRI, DDRII i don't know (still don't know it's worth to buy) Some first impressions. -Lack of manual divider setting ->only 1 setting for DDRI (still single channel). That is DDR333, don't know what the hell that is . If you set your CPU as 400Mhz (busspeed)=> you get 5:3 divider (WTF is that , if FSB is 133->my precious BH5 runs on 80 Mhz:wtf: ). maximimum that I could set was 140FSB :wtf: If you set it as an 533Mz one=> 4:5 (that's more like it ). max 160 :wtf: -The onboard VGA can't be disabled. But you can set it to 1MB shared memory. -The cooler that is provided, doesn't make enough pressure in the CPU. With as result that my sometimes runs at 82*C -No lock whatsoever, don't have a pci-e card. so can't be tested -I was very enthousiast when i saw there was a Voltage setting for NB in the manual. When you get in the bios=> you can't set it Although i use the 4th revision (r1.04) of the bios. I didn't feel there was any improvement compared to the one that was delivered (r1.00). Till now, I'm quite dissappointed :s, and I'm having a new dothan next week This board is not an oc'er (yet ). Think that this platform is new and not mature at all. If you compare it with i855, the i855 is mature (like alot of you know, i855 is not mature) |
