more like "should" people have been hitting 3gig+ with single stage the only problem is... they top out at about 180 fsb. 190 is exceptional with old (400fsb) chip and old (i855) chipset. so in the end, I agree with jort but not because your container is too small but because you'll most likely run out of headroom fsb wise waaaay before you reach the limits of your chip...

I'm happy with my setup (for now), didn't had to spend a fortune. Definitly the most fun chip to play with. Quote:
And how come you still haven't got your mobo back from RMA, thought you send it back on the same time as kristos? | ||||||

I send it back 28/1. I mailed yesterday and the guy from bytesatwork hopes it arrives next week. But he's not certain.

i'm not pleased about DFI's service AT ALL. i have to wait 3 months for my board to get back and all they did was some "patchwork" ... fixed the trace, by the looks of it only with glue but I would think they also used some conductive paint... Even so, I loose 15€ shipping costs and wait 3 months for this? I could have done that myself for free :grum: I'm definately going to mail them about this and if I don'tt get a response, post on some of the bigger forums, not that that 'll help, but it'll soothe my mind a bit.

Omg, they didn't even bother to repair it. I still got the same problem. Six weeks RMA for nothing. :grum:
