| yeah but still, 3gig isn't that evident, even under single stage phase change. I think it would still do 2700 on air, wich is nice in my humble opinion |

would this "Zalman CNPS7000A/B-AlCu Socket462/478/754 All speeds" (for 30€ forcom) do a good job if it comes to cooling or should I better buy the XP-120 (hofline has them for 60€) my RAM will be Corsair 2x 512 DDR 400 Valueselect pc 3200 Cas 2.5 I know it's no oc ram at all.. but I'm not really planning to buy more expensive than those. Will that bad oc RAM make a big influence in the performance when I overclock? | |

| I had the chance to test 2 amd64 winchester 3200+ cpu's , and now i have a 3000+ , perhaps it's draw of luck , but the two 3200+ didn't oc that good , one i could only get stable @ 2580 , the other only reached 2550 completely stable . My 3000+ now runs @ 2705 mhz , every day , and is completely stable , folds@ 100% for 2 days now , and he didn't drop a wu yet . Know the xp120 is a verry good sink , and i'm sure that this cpu would do the same , or almost with the xp 120 and a decent fan , as i do now with watercooling . Only advantage i have is that with a voltmod , i could push it higher , now i'm restricted by the 1,6 vcore max . |
