looks sweet, love the colorcombination, but like TeuS said, it would look even better if you'd find a way to hide the imperfection of those front blowholes

bweurk

1600+ is kaputt, can' t see ANY signs on it being broken, looks perfectly good. No burn marks, no pins removed/bend, no edges cut off ... but my "Duron 600 from hell" still works flawlessly.

Do you think this Duron will be enough (at 1100 Mhz ... at least) to play the games ?

"simple" games like UT, Q3, WC3 should be no prob. I doubt whether BF1942 will run fluently though.

Strange it suddenly died without (xtreme) overclocking. ??? I've heard stories of AMD supplying lower grade athlons (which tend to die w/o any onbious reason) to Central-America & other relative poor countries, but this shouldn't happen. :/

While redoing the pencil job i figure some of the pencil made a faulty connection with the L3 bridges. Have done the pencil-trick like 100 times, first time it went wrong.
Removing the pencil still gave the same error

Only have today to finish it ....

? Just put the 1600 in this machine ... yes THIS one. Works fine as you can see, at 1,65V / 42°C.

So the MSI K7T Turbo - R won't accept a perfectly good 1600 which was once in it ... don' t get it. Mobo has one of the latest BIOS'es. Boot proces just stops at the beginning, no beeps, just fans, ... error led is the one mentioned above.

Time to bring out the blowtorch and pliers and just MAKE it work.

Be afraid MOBO ... be VERY afraid ...

I think your problem with the mobo lies here ->

sure that it ain't making no short-circuit with the mobo-tray?
