http://www.techtastic.ca/reviews3/mo...rton-2500.html

that's a good setting

So this is where i ended up in the end. A Mobile Barton 2500+ overclocked and stable at an equivalent of a Barton 3500+ (2500mhz) at 1.65 Vcore. This processor still has plenty of room for more overclocking. The Vcore can still be raised more and with faster ram the front side bus could be raised above the 200mhz mark.

ok this is my overclock now :

cpu : 2500+ mobile (didn't write down the stepping )
mobo : nf7 ; modded mosfets and southbridge (active cooled) for better cooling
ram : 1 stick 512 mb Twinmos Mtec pc2700
cooling : watercooling cooltech kit , with better radiator (single rad , hydor pump 700L/h etc)

ram voltage : 2.91 V
Vchipset : 1.7 V
agp voltage : 1.5 (default)
cpu doing 13*200 mhz - 2600 mhz
cpu Vcore in bios selected : 1.95
aida32 & speedfan & cpuZ read -+1.85
(flucts form 1.84 to 1.87)
winbond hardware monitor reads 1.91 V - but i dont think thats correct.

superpi result is 42s

system is 3dmark & prime95 stable

will check ram timings this evening + a screenshot from cpu-z

I'd love to see how these compare to an A64 at 2 gig.
