i did it and it didn't work on a nf7 r2, but i'm one off the few, normally you will get a gain off 10-15 fsb

yea but why change the standard FSB setting if you are going to OC anyway. There has to be something else that gives an extra boost. BTW I heard that grounding the heatsink has a bonus too, anyone that can confirm or wants to try?

Grounding a heatsink won't do anything imo... And in fact, that trick is useful if you want to start your overclock from a higher level...

Nope, instead from starting from 333MHz (DDR) you can start from 400MHz (DDR)... So, you start from a higher level, right? And if you don't want to clock higher, well, then that's all... If you wanna overclock, well, you start from 400MHz (DDR) instead of from 333MHz (DDR)... Well, at least, I understand myself

you have te be sure your cpu runs @ stock volt at that speed, you can change a 133 cpu either in a 166 or 200 cpu, but it won't change the standard multi so like an 1800+ runs standard at 11.5*133 it will run @ 166*11.5, but first you have to restore default settings after cmos clear
