| owkay. I have problems. I have been trying to figure this one out, but it won't work. pelt is on. Isolated and all. core contact is perfect. pal 6035 is on with delta fan. cpu is doing 3190. when I power up the 2nd psu, the whole machinery starts working => backside of the gpu gets extremely cold : perfect boot up pc : when I get into windows : backside of the gpu gets roomtemp. when I stress : backside of the gpu gets HOT (almost as hot as before) When I turn the pc back of, even after two or three seconds, the backside of the gpu is COLD again. so the pelt works, everything's okay, but it can't bear the stress of a ti4600 @330... the alfa pal can't take the power off the pelt produces (which is more than the power the core alone produces... same result with the pelt+alfa as with alfa alone... I never got cold backside with the alfa alone, but I guess when it stresses the pelt temp goes up coz the alfa can't diffuse it anymore.... I think it's okay to try a ti4200 with that pelt/air, but I think for a 4600 overclocked to 330 mhz, it's too much, most of the ti4200's get 310-320-ish with normal cooling... the ti4600 are almost at their max, you need watercooled pelts. I can do 329 on the core. that's it. that came to 14750... no more I have done a car lo at this speed 3190-329-720 and got 234.8!!! next test it crashed! I h8 car low... the 14750 was at 224.5... that would've given me another 103 ponts, meaning I would have been @14850, same result as with gamer's card, less mhz on core(7) and mem(15), but more cpupower (20 mhz). any more improvements possible, gamer, have you used this pelt/alfa combination on a ti4600 yet? If I don't get better results tonight=> pelt goes back off, and it's really waiting till radeon 9700 w/ watercooled pelt.

| set up a watercooling for the pelt of the GF alone , that should take care of the heat

| I agree, but don't have the appetite for it now :-) enough of this. just another try-out tonight, If I don't break the score, I freeze it till october. mod. just stranded at two seconds of a 14940+ score... nature freezed at 50 seconds, and started with a 74, meaning score for nature was good, and I had a nice run going.(run with 235.8 carlo!!) sjit

| damn, bad luck.... I didn't use that pelt on the Ti 4600, but only on the Ti 4200. pelt @ 80 watt should be enough to cool that GPU. |
