Default Ultracool II Digital - Eye Catching Fan controller

Fancy fan controller which works fully automated!

This eye-catching fan controller enables you to hook up 3 fans and reduce the noise in your system considerably. How effectively is the Ultracool II, find out in this review!

i already have this baby installed in my computer and once it's set up nicely it works like a charm
one thing you forgot to mention in the review is the 7°C range on which the fans rotate at about 75% of it's speed
as long as your temps stay underneath the max value you set minus the 7° range, your computer is REALY quiet

in the review:
Quote:
Every heat sensor can be set a specific maximum, if the temperature comes within 7°C of this preset, then the fan will start spinning faster. If the temperature surpasses the preset then all fans in the system will go to "max".
will update it with the 75% range, thanks!

ah found an explanation why a LED fan started acting up when hooked up to the unit

Quote:
HOWEVER, the fan controller is based on a pulse-width modulation technique, so if you use LED case fans, you will get full brightness... but with a "strobe effect", can become quite annoying at times
