Default Club3D Geforce FX 5900XT - New King of the budget class?

Piotke replaced his aging GF4 MX440 with a brand-new FX5900XT!

Quote:
nVidia pulled a surprising videocard out of its hat: the FX5900XT. A lower clocked FX 5900 with a very attractive price, can it be crowned as "king of the budget-class"? Find out in this review where we pit it against the popular GF4 Ti4200

yeh, nice review, but shouldn't you have benched the cpu scaling using a real game, instead of a benchmarking tool since 3dmark 2001 measures cpu power and awards points for it, regardless of fps? I mean, what we want to know is, if this card can deliver the frames in actual games?

I am no lover of 3dm03 nor 3dm01 for gpu reviews.

(3dmark01 is a good gpu tester however as well as cpu tester)

We should use a battery with
1.COD
2. q3a
3. ut2k3
4.halo(dx9)
5.maxpayne2

there should be a simple benching tool to include these 5 in a 5 minute run... always using that same run, making different reviews easily comparable too...
and soon farcry/doom/halflofe benches
