Very interesting motherboard!
I read another review on it and according to their screenshots it does have a PCI lock. Here:

Maybe they used a newer BIOS, maybe an older one.

That's weird. I saw that setting in BIOS, but I thought that it wasn't working (overclocked just ar the memory). As I experienced the typical not locked PCI errors.

@Piotke: any way to verify the PCI speed iin windows when running higher HTT speeds,

Asrock also has a mobo available for quite some time now with this exact same chipset.

The K8Upgrade, and it's also a bit cheaper than this Albatron.

I heard somewhere Albatron is a sub-company of Gigabyte? Is that true?

The great thing about the K8 Upgrade is that you can upgrade it to a Socket 939 system whenever you want.

It's seems to me that building a budget S754/S939 has not been made more interesting because of the Albatron mobo but because of the Asrock mobo.
