5 of them are on a leased line. Always online. Checked them a couple of days ago and everything still looked the same. Those are also 24/7 on Never any problems (but there might indeed be one thing, we moved on to a new firewall, so they might all be in a queu? But even this would surprise me, because all outgoing traffic isn't blocked) 2 of them are on a server in a live environment at 2 customers. If they had troubles I would know very soon All the other are at people's houses, either telenet or adsl, and mostly turned on 24/7. If there was anything wrong they would call me So I really, really don't have a f*****g clue :wtf: | |

I run foldin all the time on the PC I work on, if it would have effected performance 1% I would not be running it. Simple as that the proof lies in 3Dmark, run it on his PC with & without folding the difference is less then 1% really no offence, but some people are PARANOIA about the fact that "something" is taking their CPU power, even if it is only using the IDLE processes @JJ: double check the most powerrig you got @the homes + check settings on the firewall + test it out. problem got to be there somewhere...

He's also freaking out his P4 is now constantly 55~60°C... ffs, his passive cooled P3 500Mhz was hotter but didn't support mbm5, so he never panniced. My dad is getting old.
