Remember the Nexus 7tablet, that tablet has change it all and it was the right size/performance and excellent price? Years later, Xiaomi is preparing to launch wait for it, a 6.9 inch phone called the Mi MAX 3.

The launch is expected tomorrow and this 6.9 LCD 18:9 screen will definitely be good for people who like to stream on the go. Making calls with this phone will look funny but just as Samsung announced the Galaxy Note in 2011, people thought it qA crazy to have 5.3-inch phone and seven years later, this is actually a standard size. The last Note 8 was 6.3 inch.

Xiaomi is replacing THE Mi MAX 2 with its 6.44 inch screen AND 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution as the phone lasted for about a year. The Mi MAX 3 is getting a beefier Snapdragon 636 with eight 1.9 GHz Kryo 260 cores and Adreno 509, 6 GB RAM and 5500 mAh battery.

The company’s CEO likes to tease us with new products and he did say that the new phone has 12 + 5 megapixel rear cameras as well as 8 megapixel front shooter, AI capabilities thanks to a newer chipset. The AI features include AI unlock a few other new tricks as well.

The teaser shows that the price will stay below 2000 Yuan but didn’t actually announce the official price but even at 2000 Yuan the phone would stay at around $300 or €260 price range. This will be one big phone that will be cool for watching and consuming content and it won't cost an arm and leg - that is what Xiaomi is famous for.
