| XFX GeForce GTS250 Review The XFX GeForce GTS 250 Core Edition video card is available online for $129.99 from the folks at Newegg. For a limited time, you can purchase the card and get Call of Duty World at War as a bonus. The inclusion of a free game makes the purchase price more affordable. At the moment the competition for the GTS 250 is the Radeon HD 4850, making it a decent choice of whether you want PhysX support or DirectX 10.1 support. A lot has been said about rebranding of the GeForce 9800GTX+ to the GTS 250, but you get good performance for a good price and that is the bottom line when considering a new video card. The latest games play well on the card with only small sacrifices in terms of anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering to achieve playable frame rates throughout. Overall for the money this is a pretty decent card that plays game well enough to be a viable gaming solution and it does not cost so much you go broke buying it. http://www.gamepyre.com/reviews/hard...ds/1122_1.html |
