Default Windows XP peak invulnerable to fire

It seems that nothing will kill it

One of the iconic images of the operating system which will not die, Windows XP seems to have survived a raging fire which obliterated the surrounding countryside.

When deadly wildfires swept through large sections of California in recent weeks, Apple fanboys rushed to see if Bliss Hill had been affected. It would be the snap of the century if they could show the iconic hill as a smoking, smouldering ruin – just like an Apple IIc after it had to deal with a tough programming load, such as being switched on.

Such a picture would be priceless and open to amusing comments on Apple boards such as “Windows overheats again” and “The dangers of not buying a Mac.”
