 |  Windows 8.1 Update 2 coming Aug 12 The rumor has now been confirmed; Windows 8 update 2 will be released on August 12th. Microsoft has stuck with its clever naming scheme and chooses to call this one August Update. Catchy name, what? While the previous update was mandatory, the August Update will not be, so you can - for whatever reason - choose not to install it, and you'll still be able to get other updates without issue. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2014/08/...coming_aug_12/ |
