Black Eyed Peas member and Intel "director of creative innovation" Will.i.am has introduced a smart... cuff. The bracelet-like device is called the Puls—pronounced "pulse," according to The Next Web—and it's set to be available this year. Unlike typical smartwatches, the Puls is a completely standalone device. It's reportedly based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor backed by 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity are all included along with a GPS, pedometer, accelerometer, and speaker.
