The Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W represents a refresh to the Toughpower line of power supplies as it employs the same CWT DSG platform that we saw with the XT 775W. However, with this refresh we see more of a magnification of the previous XT 775W than anything else. The already good voltage regulation is even better than before, the very good efficiency of before has improved again, the sound profile moved from being only ok to being genuinely quiet, and the vastly improved DC Output Quality of the XT 775W has gotten a bit better. All of these are excellent changes that push all of these factors clearly into the excellent category. On the downside, the Transient Response went from being on the weaker side of things, to even worse (though in specification) today.
