| TheInq has 3DMarks of 8500GT, 8600GT and 8600GTS All tests were done on an Intel 975X based mobo with a core Core number numeral core QX6700 @ 2.66Ghz. Memory was two sticks of 512M, nothing was overclocked. The one I would pay attention to is the 3DMark2006 1280*1024 numbers specifically. They line up almost exactly with my older numbers, the main difference probably comes from the newer 100.95 drivers. http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38769

| ^bump; wait wait wait, the 8500GT is slower than an average OC'ed 7300GT ?

| 8500GT only has 16 stream processors and some fairly low clockrates... I'd truly hate to see the 8400 card's performance figures. |
