Default Thecus shows new entry-level NAS and talks next-gen firmware

During our visit we had the opportunity to take a look at the upcoming entry-level NAS from Thecus. It's actually not based on an Intel CPU, but on the new single-core PowerPC chip from AppliedMicro, the APM86491. The N2310 is a 2-bay NAS, and the combination of a cheaper SoC and a plastic chassis make an affordable price possible.
