| Teens Turn To High Frequency 15Khz Ringtones Adults Can't Hear The war between teens and authority figures has a new -- or old -- front: ears. At issue is a text-message ring tone that emits a high-pitch frequency that most teenagers can hear -- but not most adults who are over 30.

| It's stupid if you ask me. The cheap cellphone speakers usualy can't handly that frequency and it's so silent that it's hard to hear when there's a litlle bit of sound. My K700i emits a very high frequency tone, but it also emits a lower frequency tone ... wich older people probably can hear too ... gonna test it with my parents Worse is, it's giving me a headache ... |
