| Super Talent Boosts Manufacturing Capacity in U.S.A. to 1.4 Million Units per Month Super Talent Technology, a leading manufacturer of DRAM memory modules and flash products, has recently completed extensive upgrades and expansion to their San Jose manufacturing facility. The latest capacity increase makes Super Talent's headquarters the largest and most advanced memory module manufacturing facility in North America. Super Talent has owned and operated their memory factory in San Jose, California for many years. In the second half of 2006, the company upgraded many of their older machines with state-of-the-art equipment. The company's new fully automated solder screen printers are faster and require less manpower to operate. The new ultra high speed chip shooters are much smaller than the older models, and can place up to 10,000 passive components per hour - an astounding four components per second. Many of the latest resistors and capacitors, commonly called passive components, are smaller than the head of a pin. These machines are not only incredibly fast, but they are calibrated to exacting precision for extremely accurate chip placement. The company has added more than a dozen new pick-and-place machines and solder reflow ovens. According to Mr. CH Lee, Vice President of Business Operations for Super Talent Technology, "While virtually all our competitors have taken their production off shore, we're very proud to be reinvesting in high-tech manufacturing operations on American soil." This factory expansion brings Super Talent's USA manufacturing capacity to 1.4 Million units per month, far exceeding any rival memory producers. Products built in this facility include DDR and DDR2 DRAM modules, USB Flash drives, IDE Flash drives, and a variety of other memory products for servers and consumer electronics. Super Talent is a world leader in high reliability server memory, extreme performance DDR2 modules for gaming PC's, and custom USB Flash drives. Mr. Phil Kwon, Director of Channel Sales for Samsung Electronics America, one of Super Talent's primary component suppliers, said "Samsung is very happy to be part of Super Talent's growth and success." Mr. Kwon added, "We regard Super Talent as a strategic partner due to their broad portfolio of patents and to their massive manufacturing and sales capabilities." Super Talent's new SMT lines are environmentally friendly, using about 50% less power than the company's older equipment. These new SMT lines are also certified to produce "green" RoHS compliant products. With the exception of a handful of legacy memory products, Super Talent only uses tin based solder and lead-free components to ensure that all products meet the rigid RoHS environmental standards. http://www.supertalent.com/press/FactoryExpansion.php
