The maximum virtual resolution is 1704x960 pixels, which corresponds roughly to to WSXGA. Those four powerhouse will consume up to 1.4Kw, enough to heat a house. It features dual RAID controllers, one from nVidiaa nd the other from Silicon image, giving you eight SATA controller sand two PATA ones. Other functions include an 8-channel audio module including jack sensing function, fire wire interface, ten USB 2.0 ports, Dual Gigabit LAN, hardware firewall, dymamic overclocking through Asus Non-Delay Overclocking System. It boosts a 3-3-3-8 CAS latency which means that it might be well suited for some overclocking session. It also comes with high efficiency aluminium XMS ehatsink and lifetime warranty. Two Seagate Cheetah HDD from Bason computer for $698 RAIDzero two of these babies and watch your computer fly when you use them as system/boot hard disk. With a 16MB onboard cache, 15krpm rotational speed and a huge 73.4GB hard disk capacity (146.8GB total), they are on top of the SCSI evolution tree. Four 400GB Hitachi Hard disks from Memorylabs for $1324 Hitachi currently holds the world record for capacity with those technology-crammed hard disk. They have serial ATA connections which means that they can be hot swpaped. Furthermore, they have 8MB cache and a rotational speed of 7200rpm. Not bad at all for a total combination of 1.6TB. Lian Li black casing at $216 from ToolPCs Forget about what you've seen lately, the Lian Li PC75B is what casings should be about. Black, stylish, simple and very effective. It is a full tower aluminium case with a transparent side panel - for the above LED RAM. It has 15 device bays, six hidden 3.5-inch bays and three exposed as well as six 5.25-inch bays. On top of that there are four fans for cooling purposes. Thermaltake Silent Purepower 680W PSU at Newegg for $169 To feed all these components, a Thermaltake power supply, one of the most powerful available at 680W. It has support for 10 4-pins peripherals, four SATA and two PCI-e components. Other bits and pieces not to be forgotten Windows XP OEM with SP2 add-on OS, - A Fibre Channel RAID controller, A 2GB USB Drive, Two Dual layer 16x DVD Writers, Two 120MM fans for the casing, Hard disk fans and round cables, A floppy disk drive, Matching Wireless keyboard and optical mouse, A 1KVa UPS, Thermal paste and grease, A TV Tuner, 7.1 Speakers with matching Sound card, Heat Sink and Fan for the FX55 and lastly, a memory card reader. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=20384
