 |  SMIC boosts 28nm process chips 20 million in the fourth quarter SMIC is to jack up shipments of its 28nm process technology to 20 million chips in the fourth quarter of 2016 – double from the last quarter. Apparently this is all due to increased orders coming in from Qualcomm and Leadcore.
