The standard 2,4 GHz-band is compatible with every Wi-Fi device and uses wireless-N technology to provide Wi-Fi speeds of up to 300 Mbps. The less congested 5 GHz-band utilizes the ac-standard to reach speeds of up to 450 Mbps, ideal for more demanding applications such as online gaming or HD-video streams.
