LMAO, the company unable to produce a quiet PSU produces a muffler for PSUs

I bet the engineers and Managers at Seasonic and Tagan are laughing their asses off at this.

I'm starting to lose my patience with you, your replies on these newsposts are hardly every constructive and mostly if not always offending. Is there no way you can formulate your thoughts in a more constructive and meaningful manner?

Like saying that the muffler can easily be made by visiting your local DIY store?

Point is, there is no need for the PSU muffler except you use one of their PSUs which are pretty much the only noisy ones on the market. pretty ironic

It is constructive to say when a product sucks or is not needed, what is not constructive is the attitude of reviewers which refuse to point out a mediocre product or even test it right, which I point out as well.

If we sit here and talk as if everythign is alright, things will not change. Reviews and products will not get better.

Oh and of course, the review is worthless because as long as you can still HEAR the PSU with such a device it's not worth a 9. Also lack of scientific measurement.

FYI a muffler device is implemented by people who've been silencing their PC for years (www.silentpcreview.com), what Silverstone has done is make it commercially available for the end user to have what DIY take time to make.

it DOES help deflect noise from the PSU fan away from your ear, which LOWERS the perceived noise level; thereby doing what it claims to do: MUFFLE your PSU.

Silverstone is not known for making loud PSU, where do you get that information from? Just because a company puts out PSU's with 80mm fans that does not render them LOUD PSU ONLY COMPANY by default. I have a GlobalWin 500W 80mm PSU sitting here which proves exactly THAT point.

that I agree. and also there is no need for "points" on a product,

no that is not constructive at all! saying "you suck" without a detailed reasoning for "WHY" is just name calling, which is NEVER constructive.

I read reviews to their PSUs, let me seek them:
