 |  Shocker: Google Maps tops iPhone App Store In a surprise to, well, absolutely no one, probably, Google's newly returned Maps is now leading the way in the free section of the iPhone App Store, in spite of some initial download snags. Yesterday marked a return for the app, which had been dumped by Apple in favor of a homegrown solution.
