| Samsung unveils latest high-end Exynos Auto chip Headed for Hyundai Samsung has unveiled its latest high-end Exynos Auto chip for in-vehicle infotainment systems. The Exynos Auto V920 will power next-generation infotainment systems in Hyundai cars after 2025. This is the first time that Samsung’s processors will be used in Hyundai cars, so it’s a big step for the South Korean firm. The Exynos Auto V920 chip from Samsung’s chip design arm, System LSI, succeeds the Exynos Auto V9. It performs better because it has a 10-core CPU and a more powerful GPU and NPU and uses the CPU cores from ARM for 1.7x. Although Samsung has not said this might be the Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720, and Cortex-A520. The new Exynos Auto chip also features support for LPDDR5 DRAM. https://fudzilla.com/news/automotive...ynos-auto-chip |
