Racing games are far and few between with only a few making any kind of
impact on the gaming world. Ridge Racer is one of these games which make
for some great racing on any platform. This series started out back in
1994 on the PSOne and was an instant hit with racing enthusiasts. Ridge
Racer for PSP packs a whopping 54 cars, 24 courses including updated
console and arcade classics, single or multiplayer matches, and some
realistic and detailed environments to get all wrapped up in. To say the
least, the PSP incarnation of Ridge Racer packs a lot more than the
original, but can it even start to compete against the likes of Gran
Turismo?
