Default Rambus unveils PCI Express PHY platform

RAMBUS HAS UNVEILED its latest creation, the Turbo PCI Express physical layer (or PHY) platform, capable of supporting data rates between 5.0 and 6.4Gbps. Additionally, it will support the 2.5Gbps data rate. Rambus is claiming that the dual-mode capability will allow system developers to up bandwidth without changing their PCI Express system designs
