wtf, 4 GHz on boxed cooler ?

A Japanese overclocker has checked out the overclockability of the Prescott 2.4A stock cooled on ASUS P4C800-Deluxe and Kingston KHX3500 256MB x 2. He managed to hit 3.6Ghz at default VCore of 1.4V and ~4Ghz at 1.65V.

moeha, got me the same CPU

boxed cooling it does 3.6 @ 1.45 Vcore. but idle temps = 78°

and mobo doesn't accept any fsb above 200...

Chaintech mobo?
it works with the Prescott then?

if yes, that mobo handles ~250 FSB with a northwood.

chaintech, yes.

from the moment on I selec an FSB over 200, in bios, it drops back to 100 and starts counting again. 202 fsb = 102 fsb for example. and on 300 fsb it drops again
