 |  PC maker buys $1 million worth of LEDs Orion Energy Systems said that has won a million dollar contract to install LED lights and light pipes, The customer is a Northern Californian designer and manufacturer of mobile phones, tablets and personal computers. So that would be Apple then. The installation includes retrofitting and replacing existing legacy products and upgrading others using the High Bay LEDs which Orion claims has two optical elements and a better lifetime than its competitors. Orion installed 660 High Bay lighting fixture, 1,150 solar light pipes, and the firm’s InteLite control system.
