Oppo officially announces Oppo R9 and R9 Plus

Oppo has officially announced its new Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus in China and while both will have the same design and should be praised by selfie lovers due to 16MP front camera, there are quite a few differences in terms of hardware.

Oppo R9

The smaller and cheaper Oppo R9 is based on a 5.5-inch Full HD 1920x1080 AMOLED screen which adds up to 401ppi of pixel density and 77.68% screen to body ratio. Measuring at 151.8x74.3x6.6mm, the Oppo R9 looks stunning and can brag with very thin 1.66mm side bezels. The heart of the Oppo R9 is Mediatek's Helio P10 SoC with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, additional four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.0GHz and MaliT-860 MP2 GPU.
