| not in .BE afaik know plenty of people who only have portable phone

| I have been living in Chicago area for 33 years too .... my last encounter with Chase.com using my cell phone on my credit card three months ago ended up with deactivation of my account. I called back and was told I had to use my landline. I don't know if Chase is the only bank requiring this. My last trip overseas using online banking required verification of account and password because of different IP address was used, which is unrelated to topic matter.
