| One Terabyte DIMM on the Horizon Diablo Technologies has announced it will be introducing a one Terabyte DIMM called a TeraDIMM, which uses flash rather than DRAM, enabling the DIMM to store much more with less power consumption and to manufacture the unit at a lower cost. No, you probably will not be buying these for your gaming rig. This is intended as an enterprise server class technology and it will be priced as such. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2013/08/...mm_on_horizon/ |
