Default OCZ first to announce the XMP Memory

OCZ is the first to announce Intel Extreme Memory modules, or the new memory that is optimized and predefined for Intel's X38 chipset. We wrote about the XMP during the Games Convention in Leipzig and you can read it here.

The Intel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP) is a set of SPD (Serial Presence Detect) settings that acts in the same way as the praised Nvidia's EPP, as an integrated "plug and play" overclocking tool.
