Default Nvidia’s Q2 2008 refresh is dual chip

Nvidia will also have a refresh of its Geforce 9800 GX2 series and these cards will get a faster iteration of the same marchitecture.

We suspect that the current 9800 GX2 might drop in price to make the space for the new ultra high-end card, and make them coexist. We simply cannot see Nvidia killing the current GX2 after three months life cycle but you have to bear in mind that Nvidia was late with this dual card but the GT200 remained on its original Q2 2008 schedule.
