NVIDIA reports that NBC Universal will be using the Quadro FX 4500 SDI to develop content for its CNBC financial news station. The FX 4500 SDI sports a 512MB frame buffer, offers up to a 50% increase in performance compared to its predecessor and supports SDI in 2K, HD and SD formats in Windows and Linux.
