 |  Nothing Ear (2) officially announced Gets improved ANC, LHDC support, and personalized sound profiles Nothing has officially announced its new Ear (2) wireless earphones, which are a direct successor (obviously) of the Nothing Ear (1), launched back in June 2021. Nothing has kept the same design, but there are plenty of hardware changes to warrant the new version. The big update is the support for the LHDC 5.0 audio codec, allowing Hi-Res audio streaming. It also brings the new adaptive active noise cancelation (ANC), depending on the surroundings.
