| Newegg Counterfeit CPU Mess Finally Resolved Newegg admits it shipped fake Intel Core i7 CPUs to customers and is working to remedy the situation. It says a supplier, IPEX, is to blame. Customers received CPU-looking pieces of metal with no pinouts. Quote:
