Default New Samsung SSDs have TRIM support, 30-nano flash

Despite a lack of official bragging (read an announcement), Samsung's newest 2.5-inch solid stated drives, known as the 470 Series, have started to become available in Europe (and Japan too apparently) in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.

Equipped with a Samsung multi-core controller and 30nm class MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory chips, the 470s drives have a blushed aluminum 2.5-inch casing, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, TRIM support, a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 1.5 million hours, and a resistance to shocks of up to 1500G.
