Default New Linux Version Will Reduce Suspend and Resume Times

Phoronix announced the upcoming release of Linux 3.15 sometime in mid-2014 which will feature ACPI and power management updates. "Visible to users with the Linux 3.15 kernel should be reduced time for system suspend and resuming, thanks to the enabling of more asynchronous threads."
