| Musk backs AI smears of reporter Robots should be allowed free speech if they agree with me Supreme Twit Elon [look at me] Musk has praised an AI based software which slagged off a reporter he does not like. In a conversation with the disassociated press, Microsoft’s ChatGPT-powered Bing complained of the publication’s past news coverage of its mistakes. It accused the reporter of spreading alleged falsehoods about Bing’s abilities and eventually compared the reporter to Hitler, Pol Pot and Stalin. It also claimed to have evidence tying them to a 1990s murder having an ugly face, bad teeth, and being too short. Always ready to contradict himself for a bit of attention, Musk, who has previously called AI ‘one of the biggest risks’ to civilisation which needs to be regulated, agreed with the AI. "LOL. The Bing AI machine sounds way more fun, engaging, real and human than the sanctimonious, hectoring liberal scold called ChatGPT. At least give people the option to interact with this version rather than the Chris-Hayes-ified one," he tweeted. Musk is not fond of AP because it has a nasty habit of reporting things about his electric car company Tesla which are not positive. Last year, Twitter suspended the accounts of several prominent journalists who wrote critically about Musk. The billionaire has previously said that he was aiming to break the media’s ‘oligopoly over information’ by making Twitter the ‘least wrong source of truth’. https://fudzilla.com/news/ai/56388-m...rs-of-reporter |
