| MSI Announces its GeForce GT 740 Series MSI joined the GeForce GT 740 launch party with two cards, the N740-2GD5, which features 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, and the N740-2GD3, which features 2 GB DDR3. Both cards are based on essentially the same board design, and offer NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of 1006 MHz core. The N740-2GD5 features reference GDDR5 memory clocks of 5.00 GHz, while the N740-2GD3 offers 1782 MHz (DDR). Based on the 28 nm GK107 silicon, the GeForce GT 740 offers 384 CUDA cores, 32 TMUs, 16 ROPs, and a 128-bit wide memory interface. http://www.techpowerup.com/201365/ms...40-series.html |
