| Mozilla Says No Plans to Return to iOS Mozilla is remaining defiant in the face of Apple's 'unfriendly attitude' toward third party browsers. According to Jay Sullivan, VP of product at Mozilla, no Firefox browser version is planned for iOS until Apple relaxes its policy towards third party software. The sticking point for Mozilla is not being able to carry over its sophisticated rendering and javascript engines to iOS. Essentially, the organization doesn't feel like it can build the browser it wants to for Apple's platform, Sullivan told CNET. http://www.hardocp.com/news/2013/03/...to_return_ios/ |
